Beth Shaw is one of Southern Africa 's leading Equine Therapists, treating over 200 equine patients a month. Her phenomenal success and highly respected work is attributed to the intensive training she has received from Winks Greene, a legend and pioneer of Faradic and Impulse therapy. Beth employs the Winks Greene methods of pinpointing and treating muscular / skeletal injuries of the equine athlete.

The BSET Academy offers an intensive ten-month equine therapy course that will enable students to effectively diagnose and treat equine muscular / skeletal injuries. Students will receive extensive hands-on tuition and experience, riding remedial work on horses from a variety of disciplines. They will be instructed in all aspects of Faradic Equine Therapy and trained in the use of the "Winks Greene Transeva", an advanced Faradic machine. This course will give students the confidence and skills required to start their own equine therapy careers.

The course duration is ten months and consists of three semesters of three months each. Students take a two-week vacation between semesters.

BSET Academy enrols only four students per course. This allows the academy to ensure that each student receives concentrated, detailed and comprehensive equine therapy training and tuition

The course will specifically benefit the following candidates:

•  Competitive riders who seek a sustainable way of maintaining soundness and outstanding equine performance on a consistent basis
•  Career orientated horsemen/women who would like to establish their own equine therapy business
