General Information

Campus Accommodation

BSET Academy students live on campus and share a well-appointed, fully furnished house on the property. Each student has their own bedroom. The academy is ideally situated between the heart of the breeding and horse racing industries, offering students a behind-the-scenes glimpse into various equine disciplines.

Location

Nestled in the Karkloof Valley in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, students enjoy breathtaking views from both the front porch and horseback. The academy operates on a working farm and rehabilitation centre surrounded by rolling hills and countryside.

Uniform & Dress Code

Students are required to wear blue or black jeans or jodhpurs and leather jodhpur boots. BSET Academy uniforms are purchased on enrolment and include shirts, fleeces, caps, and jackets. BSET Academy uniform is worn daily.

Safety & Insurance

Students are required to provide their own approved safety riding helmet. It is compulsory for a helmet to be worn at all times when riding. All students are required to have comprehensive medical insurance.
